Wrong Assumption

Today I finally be able to see Ugi again after months I have not been able to see her. She brought me things for fun that I have been asking her. We are talking about many new tv series and about her job and people around us. We were having fun but got a bit disturbed when we were about to order drinks at Starbuck. Somehow, her credit card was not functioning in their machine. However, previously she bought something using the same credit card and it worked just fine. The reason I did not want to use mine because I would have added more debts on mine and I am trying to avoid that… Ugi got angry because the way the server boy seems to think that her card is over limit or something… I am really, really do feel bad about it… As I just thought that it is natural that the machine does not work due to heavy traffic… Really, really sorry, Gal…

Often we just let our self with our not-so-right assumption. We only see the half of the events or have not seen at all, but just assuming that something wrong must have happened due to someone else’s fault. We saw a woman hit a guy on the street. We thought that girl being bitchy. In turn out that guy was harassing her in the first place and that is why she hit him. We saw a woman being pinched by a teenage girl at the mall. We thought that woman is a mistress from that girl’s dad. While the woman actually have no idea why she got pinched. The girl mistook her for somebody’s else. I guess this is a lesson for all of us not to judge too quickly on the event that has taken place and we have no idea what is the truth behind it…
