I thanks her and her friend who gave us the ticket, but honestly... I would never ever go to that celebration again.
It was like going to see our President or something. You have to passed 3 lining session before you finally be able to enter the stadium (ISTORA SENAYAN). And after that you have to fight for your seat against one family containing a mother and her two impolite kids who protected empty seats for their families and friends!.
If my friends were not stubborn enough to keep on sit on that place, we probably end up going out again from Istora.
Mothers. Honestly, you can not beat them. Better not mess with them, unless you are also a mother. We heard a row between that annoying ladies with another older ladies over the empty seat. Ladies in front of me snatched someone's first to keep her seat. At first, I thought that boy was also her kid. It turn out, it was not. AMAZING! And that kid was so stunned, no sound came out from his mouth.
When their families finally came, we of course pretend not to know and keep on sitting. I almost loose my patient when the kid said something rude. But then again, these are FREE SEATS, for heaven sakes! It is not as if you are paying for it.
We managed to keep on watching the show for probably about 15 minutes. As soon as the singing parade from Peter Pan, Melly and BBB (not BADAN BAU BANGET or BADAN GEDE BANGET but BUKAN BINTANG BIASA), Dewi Sandra and Maia with Indonesian Idol females contestants. As soon as the musical drama started, we both took of for good and head for Starbuck at PS.
Finally, my free advice, please do not bring your infant especially those under 5 years old. It would be so exhausting for them. Imagine, you have to spend almost 1 hour to passed the three times lining up. The weather is hot. If you are that eager to see Indonesian entertainers, then please just leave them at home.
To tell you the truth, I could not understand why they just won't let people go in earlier. Sighed. THis is my first time and also my last to see that event.
One thing I have to tell you though, the stage is soooo small. But it looks so grand on screen. They create the most beautifull illusion. That, I admit.
